People are rushing to buy southern New Hampshire homes. Many of my northern Massachusetts home sellers including downsizes and move up buyers are choosing Salem NH, Windham NH, Plaistow NH & Atkinson based on the quality of living that you can enjoy over the border.

The most common reasons I hear are...

  1. You get more home for your money.
  2. You have the opportunity to get more land, more privacy and bigger homes.
  3. You can buy new construction for the cost of a smaller, older home in Massachusetts.
  4. Some of the towns have lower tax rates.
  5. There is a lot more to choose from.
  6. Tax Free shopping
  7. The easy bus to Boston from routes 1,2,3 with free onsite parking make commuting far more attractive.

Some things to consider before submitting an offer on a Southern New Hampshire house.

  • Closing costs in New Hampshire are slightly higher for buyers. Ask your lender for details.
